The challenge

YWCA Greater Atlanta’s Salute to Women of Achievement was already a well-established fundraiser. But a busy luncheon program left little room for a live giving opportunity, and a previously tested text-to-pledge approach had not been effective.

The partnership

Alloy and YWCA Greater Atlanta worked together on a mission-centered program and guest experience. The opportunity was to make space for onsite giving without losing the event’s timing or character.

The solution

By combining video, careful scripting, and adjustments to the meal and program flow, Alloy created a 15-minute window for a live appeal. A woman auctioneer followed a moving testimonial with gift levels from $25,000 to $100.

The impact

The appeal raised $100,000 in 15 minutes. Academy members and longtime supporters gave together, and a surprise $25,000 contribution became part of the result. The story demonstrates the value of aligning the giving moment with the mission.
